Aquaponic Farming & Food Security Program

Our Aquaponics Program partners with local urban farms and food justice organizations to promote sustainable urban agriculture in East Oakland. By integrating aquaponics systems, we increase access to fresh produce and fish in food deserts while providing hands-on education for residents. This initiative empowers the community with the knowledge and resources to grow healthy, locally sourced food, fostering food security and environmental sustainability.
